Gentry was the first listing on auto trader with the best price. I was contacted within 5-10 minutes by Ashley. I made the 20 minute drive and met Danny the salesman who is pretty much everyone’s favorite uncle. They made me and my wife feel at home. Danny went out of his way to keep us comfortable and informed. The process was very transparent. I believe the sales team gave us a great deal, and stayed after closing to take care of us.

We drove 4 hrs one way to buy a truck, the used car salesman Chris sent us a video of the truck and said it was in phenomenal condition! No real damage he said and great condition, I told him to clean it up we would be up to buy the truck if it was what he said it was. We got there and immediately seen how dirty the truck was and began to walk around it and noticed horrendous hail damage all over the truck, as we drove it noticed the horrible ride and over powering smell of anti freeze. We told Chris and he said maybe only like $300 worth of hail damage? I said the truck would be totaled by an insurance company. I then asked about the horrible anti freeze smell and he said it was glow plugs. Which have nothing to do with that at all. I showed him his video again and asked how this video was truthful, he said the truck checks out, after I asked for a car fax he brought it out and it was a lemon buy back! Even a sticker on the inside door Pilar said lemon buy back! We left and his used car manager called and said indeed there was anti freeze problem And around $4000 worth of hail damage. Also no warranty on the truck at all. The manager Clyde also said he would send us a $200 file card for our trouble, after several calls with no response we haven’t received that either. Do not expect truth or good service or vehicles from this place. If we could give less than 1 star we would! Since my review, Jonathon of Victory Chevrolet reached out to me and listened to my concerns and assured me this matter wouldn’t happen again. He was very nice and apologized and is sending me reimbursement for our fuel and time. Even though the experience wasn’t what we had hoped for he definitely made things right and I believe it was a fluke deal and he is making it right with us. I appreciate that more than I can say!

I bought two trucks in August last year. I lost the titles before I could get them both licensed and sales tax paid. I called Victory and Allison help me get my titles replaced. I took a very short amount of time. The entire staff have been very gracious. I will certainly do business with them again!

The service dept always does a great job with the truck. Jeff is a top notch mechanic and the service crew always gets me in in a timely manner and gets me taken care of.

We were in a real bind with our truck as we were trying to get to Phoenix, Az. Called a dealership in Topeka and one inEmporia and couldn't even look at it until next week. We'll that's pretty hard when your traveling with 2 dogs. We really couldn't afford a motel for that long. We turned around and came back to Smithville. If you’re looking for a new Chevy (or any car for that matter) stop in and ask for Marking Daniels. Particularly as a woman, it’s hard to car shop. Sales people often don’t give you the time of day, belittle you, and constantly try and pull the wool over your eyes. Marking was respectful, fair, and honest. We traded up for our dream car at a price that was mutually agreeable. Can’t ask for more.
